I returned today from the annual shopping trip to Dewey Beach! We shopped til we dropped- literally, we crashed last night and I don't think I moved at all last night. We had a long weekend, but got a ton of shopping done and had a blast with all the ladies! It's always a much needed getaway and something we look forward to all year!
I was so excited to be home with my boys. My parents had Bode this weekend, as well as Sara and the boys- they had a blast and he was a good boy, despite waking up early both days :( Sara and Mom took the boys to get pictures taken and they turned out ADORABLE!!!! My Dad got home from Japan Saturday night, after being delayed for nearly 6 hours.... as if the 14 hour flight isn't bad enough :( sadly, he leaves for Germany the day after Thanksgiving again!!
The weather was beautiful and we wanted to go hiking, but Bode was so tired he ended up sleeping for awhile this afternoon so we opted to walk to the park- more fun for Bode haha

They also tried taking the kids to see Santa, but not surprisingly Bode didn't want to sit on Santa's lap! I thought he would scream and throw a fit but he just said No!
I am sooo looking forward to spending quality time with my boys this weekend.... it's a short week and we have a lot planned- I can't wait for Monday night...... Michael and I are seeing Goonies on the big screen (one of the local theatres shows old movies on Monday nights). We have Thursday and Friday with family and then Michael leaves Saturday to start rifle season- the Monday after Thanksgiving is always the first day of rifle season, so he will be in the mountains the second half of the weekend. I hope everyone has a fantastic Turkey Day and remember to BE THANKFUL FOR WHAT YOU HAVE!!!!!
