Briefing

The Madara family has upheld their reputation and been very busy lately. Michael completed his last weekend of archery hunting and saw 5 deer, a few were out of range and a few were illegal to shoot :( Rifle season starts the Monday after Thanksgiving and we are very hopeful because he won't have to worry about the deer being out of range then!!
I have had a few jewelry parties and work work work- we have been so busy as usual this time of year, it's fantastic! We are ahead of schedule on the one major company that ordered 400 baskets, so that is great and we have potentially landed ourselves with a HUUGE casino account in Atlantic City- they want to do 1200 baskets at one price and about 250 of another size for New Year's Eve.... additionally, throughout the year they do 600/month.... so we are keeping our fingers crossed for that account! They gave verbal confirmation they wanted to use us for New Year's, but we are waiting for the official okay!
This time of year I'm reminded that my Mom started this business in the basement years ago........ and look at it now!! Way to go Mama
Well Bode survived his 2 back-to-back ear infections- so we continued with swim lessons for the second week!

Walking in with Daddy

Hoarding duckies
his absolute most favorite thing to do!!
Halfway through the lesson Monday night, he started shivering and his lips were blue, so we got out early and went home. He had a fever that night and continued to have a fever on and off all week. He didn't have any other symptoms, except not having much of an appetite so we think it's teeth but I took him to the pediatrician this morning just in case... and they told me that with his last ear infection the ear drum ruptured!!!!! I didn't know that could happen, let alone know that is HAD happened to Bode! They wrote it in the chart, but must have forgotten to tell me!! Luckily, it was healed and looked fine, but was slightly pink still. They said it looks like he isn't getting another one, it's still healing because the last one was so bad (the amoxicillin didn't work the first time, so we switched his meds). Other than that, all looked fine- nose, throat, etc. so it might be some 2-year molar action, we aren't sure. Last night and this morning he was fine and happy with no fever.
Lining cars up on the couch
I think he is realizing that my belly is growing......
... and I think more and more is mesmorized by what is growing and happening to me haha
Hangin with Daddy

This weekend is our annual beach shopping trip to Dewey!! Michael is helping his cousin move on SAturday, doing something wiht the guys that night, and then working on the upstairs on Sunday- yayyyy! If I get home at a decent time, we are going on a family hike, SOOO EXCITED!! I haven't hiked since I was pregnant with Bode- about a week before I was due, we went on a 6+ mile hike... I don't even know how long it was, but it took forever! It's hard to believe next week is Thanksgiving, but I'm so excited- with all of our running around we always do, it will be SO NICE to have time to spend with each other and family :)
