Wow, we got to sleep in and spend time in our house- that does NOT happen often, especially in the spring/summer!
Friday night Michael went to the mountains with his Dad for turkey hunting. Bode and I ran some errands and had so much fun playing and spending time together. He is talking up a storm!! He doesn't really point at things and say what they are yet, but he can repeat so much! So far he can say: bird, duck, moo, milk, please, uh oh, a'ole, baby, bath, dog dog, ball, circle.... and pretty much try to say anything you say! yikes!!

This is the rocking chair that the Shanks got him for our baby shower- it's a handmade Amish rocking chair and he LOOOVES it! He drags it from his bedroom to the living room every night- to save our hardwood floors, we now keep it in the living room. Here he is Friday night desperately clinging to his new Elmo DVD while trying to sit on the chair (he thinks he's hot stuff now that he can climb on it by himself)

Saturday morning Bode and i went for a long walk and hit up some local yard sales. I think the whole town of Lititz was having a yard sale yesterday.... it's too bad the weather wasn't nicer, but he had fun looking at all of the people of course! Michael got home around noon and we were off to the Delinger's birthday party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The laugh of the day- Bode STILL won't get dirty with cake.... he wouldn't go near the cupcake until i gave him a spoon.... oh my! He has no problem sticking his hands in a bowl of applesauce at dinner, but when we want him to get dirty- no way!

Michael and I went to Costco after the party and ran a few more errands- how excited am I that they are almost done building a Lowe's a few miles from our house- just in time for us to work on the upstairs... YEAHHHHHHH!!!
We made dinner and had some wine Saturday night and just relaxed at home and enjoyed every stinkin' minute of it!!! It's weekends like these that get us through our crazy schedule
I'm kinda bummed the weather isn't nicer today (Sunday) because Michael and I had planned on working on our yard.... a much needed endeavor. We have bushes and shrubs to rip out, mulching, weeding, a stump to remove, etc. It looks like we'll have to work in the house- we are starting to move all of our boxes and furniture from upstairs into the garage, so we can get ready to rip out some walls and re-do the upstairs, to get ready for a much needed playroom for our little monkey!!!
