I love the show 'Beat Charlie Moore'.... it's a fishing show on ESPN. Michael watches fishing and hunting shows on Saturday mornings if we are around and this is by far my favorite. Charlie Moore is madness and I love it!!! Anyway, he does a 'rant of the day' and complains about something and doesn't hold back.... he's fantastic!
Public service announcement- people at the grocery store need to CALM DOWN!!!
We were in major need of groceries... usually every third month (sometimes every other month) we are in need of just about everything, you know the mayo and peanut butter, toilet paper, paper towels, and staple stuff that you should always have.... so last night was a major grocery run- I got in line and halfway through unpacking my cart onto the belt, the checker turns on the top part of his light that says 'express 15 items or less' but it's okay that i continue because i was already in line.
This lady flipped out when she ran to the line and saw my cart- i told her how sorry i was (while continuing to quickly unpack my cart) and she yelled at me for continuing in the 'express' line. I explained to her that by the time i put everything back into my cart and move lines, she could be out the door already by going to another line. She then yelled at the checker for not having him open another express line for people like her. I honestly thought I was about to get arrested.... I know if Michael would have been with me, he would have restrained me but I told her she could stop wasting her time yelling and get in the line next to us (which was empty by this time). She gave me daggers and whipped around- honestly I mean I was in and out of that line in a matter of probably 7 minutes (which i think was lightning speed for the amount of groceries we had). The one time I don't have Bode with me at the store.... if i had a child, maybe she would have cut me some slack.
Second rant of the day- H1N1.... really?! That's what you are calling the swine flu now? That's like Prince becoming a symbol....
I thought they would have come up with a better name, but regardless everyone be careful and just watch yourself. I saw some guy at the gas station get yelled at for sneezing into his hand.... this lady says 'you are supposed to sneeze into your sleeve'.... wow people, just be sanitary and watch yourself!

the kid doesn't help...I feel like people get more annoyed at you for even bringing your kid to the store...people just need to chill in general...love the rant though! I can totally picture it. I should do a rant about people and their lack of turn signal use in the city!
Airports are another place that people need to calm down. A ton of people wearing masks too! After being at Seaworld, Disneyland and an airplane all in one week (major germ pools), I will be very happy if we dont all get sick.
