Raaandommm Thoughts

Don't get mad..... I have a new post that doesn't include pictures of Bode!! I know, but don't have my camera!!!!! I will post new pics of him this week- after all, he is 6 weeks old today!!

So while running (4 miles.. yeahhhhhhhhhhh), I realized that I wish I had more time in the day. Has anyone ever wished there were about 5 more hours to their day?!?!! Not working hours, but I just wish I could get home from work and still have a lot of time to run, have dinner, and spend lots of QT with my hubby and baby. Lately it feels like by the time I get home, run or workout and have dinner, Bode is ready for bed :(

I also realized while running that the Pointer Sisters' song 'Jump for my love' is an absolutely AWESOME song to workout/run to!!! And if you have ever seen Love Actually, it's hysterical thinking about Hugh Grant dancing!! (that's right Kristi- our movie)

Another thought that crossed my mind while running (it's been so long since I've run that I did so much thinking during last night's run) is how lucky I am- I think about this every day, how fortunate I am to have what I have and be surrounded by such amazing people in my life. I think about people that are truly struggling everyday and I cannot help but be so thankful for what I have- I hope people stop to realize their own good fortune every now and then :)

New songs on my ipod this week are: Racing Day (backyardigans), Crazy Bitch (Buckcherry), U and Dat (E-40 and T Pain), Gimme More (yes, that's right Ms. Brittney Spears)

Can you believe the New Kids On The Block are reuniting?!! Ahhhhhhhhhh that's not right!!

The more time in my day is why it took me 1 1/2 years to get back to consistent running after Charlie was born. THe time goes by so fast and you only have so many nights when he'll take a bottle and snuggle up and doze off in your arms. There's only so many nights where all three of you can lay around on the floor and giggle and play before the little one is off to bed. The time flies, so when the choice arose, I always picked not running. Certainly run occasionally and find time for yourself, but the time goes by too fast!

And if I find a large poster on your door or a pillow case on your pillow with some middle-aged boy band geeks on it (reunioned New kids), I will disown you! Love, your big sister!

HAHAHAHAHAHA you never know, the pillow case could show up on your bed again!!
Yeah, I see how fast Charlie grew and it's amazing, but scary! I definitely cherish the snuggle newborn stage now!!
