Updates

I'm going to post an update with some adorable (of course) photos while the boys in the house are all sleeping! Bode had his well baby checkup this week and had a growth spurt! He weighed 11.5 pounds and is now 23 1/2 inches long, bumping him from the 75th to the 78th percentile. He is already out of 0-3 month clothing and is already in a size 2 baby shoe!! He has been sleeping really well lately. I don't want to jinx it, but Thursday night he slept from 9-4 and Friday night he slept from 9-5!!
He is cuter and cuter every day, if that's possible. He smiles a lot now and is such a happy baby. In the morning, he lays in his crib and makes noises and looks around smiling. He has a new trick this week- he can grasp and hang onto his toys- He likes his soccer rattle and his wonky wiggler.... he needs more coordination though, because every once in a while he hits himself in the face when he gets excited! Daycare has been going well, Bode is good and he seems to be happy where he is. I love the orange romper on him.... it looks like a prison jumpsuit! Daddy and Bode spent some time watching the Phillies game last week- I think Bode just likes the bright colors on the TV! Bode seems to enjoy listening to music a lot. We have this great channel with Comcast called MHD- music HD- it's nothing but live performances and videos all in High Def- and they play a huuuuge variety of music. I like to put that on in the morning while we're getting ready for work and Bode really liked when the Rolling Stones were on last week (Alex will be so proud). Michael took a picture of me when I got back from running- I was entertaining Bode as I danced with Koa to the rolling stones!!

I'm running in the race against racism on April 26th- it's only a 5K, but I'm anxious and nervous because I haven't raced in about a year!! Plus, I need to get stronger for the race and it's only 2 weeks away...... Yikes!!

We have a very busy couple of weeks coming up and we are SOOO excited to take Bode on his first beach trip to the beach house in Dewey Memorial Day weekend- I cannot wait to get those pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We will finally get to visit the Cohens next weekend and hang out in the city for the entire weekend. Michael is installing a tile backsplash in Sara's kitchen, so we are guests for the weekend. The following weekend is turkey season, and then we have things going on just about every weekend until mid-June! I think I hear one of the boys starting to wake up downstairs- gotta go! DON'T FORGET TAXES ARE DUE TUESDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
