Gotta go go go go go.....

I'm obsessed with the Backyardigans' episode called 'Racing Day'. If you have 'on demand', it's available on Nick Jr. It is the cutest cartoon and every episode has catchy little tunes. My wonderful sister got me hooked on 'racing day' because she is training for a marathon and was singing it one day. I had to go and watch the show and now I'm hooked!
So I had my postpartum checkup on Friday and got a clean bill of health! I had been running a mile or so here and there, but was told to stop until I had my checkup :( Needless to say, I was wicked excited to get an ok to resume normal exercise again! So my weekend was consumed with running (hence the song stuck in my head!) I ran 2 miles on Friday, got to a 3-miler on Saturday, and did another 2 miles on Sunday. I know it seems minimal, but it was exciting for me, seeing as how I haven't officially 'run' in over 5 months! I absolutely miss it and I feel great!! Well, I'm really sore, but I'm just so glad to be back in it!
We had a pretty uneventful weekend. We were out at Jamie and Matt's house til about 1am on Friday night, and Bode was awake most of the time.... so his schedule was way off this weekend unfortunately. Saturday, we had a birthday party to go to for Taelor (Happy 1st) and that was so fun. We hung out Saturday night and Sunday I did a ton around the house, gave Koa a bath (much to his dismay), cleaned for one of my clients (I have a side business- residential cleaning, if anyone is in need), ran, and snuggled with my baby... and my hubby haha!
Bode has been so much fun lately. He smiles a lot now and was sooo extremely close to rolling over today, we couldn't believe it. He throws himself to one side and just gets onto that shoulder, but can't go further! He loves his bath time, so I posted a pic of him in there- He loves when I pour water over his head- and then he sucks on his hands when they're wet! Bode is offically out of 0-3 month clothing, so I spent a lot of Saturday afternoon reorganizing his closet and putting the new 3-6 month stuff out. He has so many adorable outfits, I can't decide what to put him in!! He probably has an outfit for every day until he is out of this size, it's crazy! And I'm so glad his pumas fit him... I can't wait for another month or two when his baby shox fit him!!!!!!!!!!!!
