What a great day we had!!! Michael and I were both home to be with our boy and we decided to have a Christmas day- we went to breakfast with my parents and got our Christmas tree and are decorating and doing lights all day!

last year we brought our parents to the tree farm where we go and they wanted to come back this year- it's such a fun experience and Bode was too young to remember last year.

this year they had homemade BBQ sandwiches that smelled fantastic- too bad we had just eaten breakfast!

draft horses take you out to the fields on wagons and you cut your own tree down and they haul it back

As soon as we got home, Bode crashed- he was poooped!! Michael and I decorated some outside lights while he slept and set up decorations inside. We decided to do lights on the house and do lights around the rock wall- I hope it looks puuurrty!!! We need to get more lights, but I will post pictures of the finished product at some point! Happy decorating :)
