What a fantastic Christmas we had! We had 5 Christmas' in 3 days so Bode was overwhelmed to say the least.... and is still asking to open presents but hopefully by next year he will understand more about Christmas. We stuck with our tradition this year, but next year will change things around a bit... since Bode will be more into 'Santa' we are doing Christmas morning at our house- this year, we did presents with Bode Christmas Eve and then headed to my parents' party.

Unfortunately, I forgot my camera at my Mom's house, but the party was so much fun as usual and the kiddos did great opening gifts- Bode only tried stealing a few of Charlie's gifts! We left my parents' around 1 and headed home for Bode to nap while we freshened up and re-packed. Then we were off to the Hoffmaster family Christmas at Jere & Cathy's.

After Cathy's, we stayed at Joni and Scott's house and did Christmas with them on SAturday. I went to the outlets early saturday morning and got some baby girl clothes that were on sale- it still hasn't hit me yet that I'm having a girl.... it actually hasn't hit me yet that we are having another baby, but I think once Bode transitions to the upstairs bedroom and the nursery is ready for a baby again it will feel more real.
When the Obers got to Nanny & Pap's, we had a delicious brunch and opened gifts!

big gift from Nanny & Pap- his own 'Bode's truck'!! it's his very own flinstone style pickup truck with a bed that has a tailgate that goes down... fully equipped with a tool box!
Saturday evening we headed to do the Madara Christmas at Great Nana's house- Bode got a Handy Manny talking toolbox, when he gets home from daycare, he runs over to it and plays it!

Overall, we had a great Christmas... we were wiped out and exhausted, but had a great time. I hope Bode remembers Christmas and had a great time- he seems to still want to open presents, but plays with all of the presents that he can!
Sunday I worked 12 hours to get a great start on the 1200 casino baskets that we had to do by Tuesday morning and the crew that we had worked their butts off and we did over 500 baskets in one day..... holy crap, that's a record! Monday, I worked about 9 hours with our crew and finished the baskets..... we kicked butt and A Basket Case had one of their busiest, best seasons ever!
Scott and Michael started working on the playroom last week and Scott worked all day today to paint Bode's room, replace the moulding, and get the room all ready for carpet. They measured for carpet today and we hope to get the quote soon. We need to do the drywall in the playroom and paint, etc. but Bode's room will be done in no time! I cant wait- Sara got him a new comforter for his bday and the paint that we picked out is perfect, I can't wait to show pics of the final product. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and best wishes for a Happy New Year!!
