Grand Opening!!

The night is finally here.... our grand opening!! My Mom has worked her tail off for over 5 years now to get to this point- having started her business in our basement and now opening a retail store! The past few weeks have been very busy at work and tonight is our grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony! We are expecting a little over 80 people!! We are having Stadium Grille cater the event and Dad is bartending.

Here are some proud pictures of our hard work

Kathy is so good at designing! Here is her nifty fall display out front

Our sign!

This is our 'seasonal cart'. During the summer we had sand in it with a grass skirt around it and a thatched roof! This is our beautiful fall display

The store is loaded with gifts- we have a section with stationary type things, an animal section, cooking/kitchen, tea/coffee.... I could go on and on!

And here it is......... our amazing new candy counter! This bad boy is humidity and climate controlled inside and air conditioned where the shelves are- it's a beautiful piece that came with a matching wrapping counter where our cash register is!

This is one of my favorite areas- this is the gorgeous display where the majority of our high end tea and spa items are. They are glass shelves lined with white Christmas lights- it looks stunning!

I will be taking pictures tonight during the event so I will have more to post! Feel free to stop by if you are in the area- it's tonight from 4:30-7
Wish us luck!!

It looks amazing! I can't wait to hear how it goes! You all are doing a great job. Don't forget to mention the amazing burp cloths that are handmade by an amazing and talented YOUNG (not 30 year old) lady you know!

That's awesome. As a former customer, I can attest to the HIGH quality of the gifts you all offer. So cool that the store is open for business.
