Kristi and I made it!!!!!!!!!!!! We realized after the race that we should have taken a before and after picture, as proof that we were there hahahaha!! The race went well- Kristi did awesome, she ran about an 8.5 minute/mile- I'm so proud of her!! WAY TO GO FRIEND! I did ok.... I had a 9.5 minute/mile, which is better than I have been doing for the past two weeks, but I am frustrated that I'm not where I want to be with running.... I have to keep remembering that I had a baby 2 months ago and just got back into running 2 weeks ago! But at least I ran the whole race and finished at a decent pace!! What a great way to start off the weekend!!

Congrats on the race babe. Be happy that you are running again and give yourself the credit you deserve...also give your body the chance to get over the fast that you just grew another human being in there!

haha I doubt that!! I'm going to stop into NXTbook soon to say hi to everyone- I saw Jim, Nate, Mia, and Tim B at the race- it was like a reunion!
