We have been extremely busy lately- 'tis the season! I'm working about 9-10 hour days 7 days/week and I'm glad now that Michael is done hunting so we can have weekends together!
Last week, I had Bode at work with me 2 days in a row and he was SOOO good! He hasn't come with me to work since he was about 9 months old and he played trucks for hours!

Last week we went to visit the Foltz family to see baby Brady, now that he is 1 month old already.. hard to believe and he looks so different- he is such a cutie and such a good baby, we are so happy for them!
Bode was more of a baby hog than me!! He wanted to hold the baby all night
In other exciting news, we have started on our playroom upstairs!! If you have lost track, this is renovation # ....... oh wait, I lost track too! That's what happens when you buy a fixer-upper. When we moved, we didn't touch the upstairs because we haven't needed to use it. We have 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath up there and one room will be Bode's new room and the other will be a new playroom!! Michael ripped out the carpet and Scott came over to help knock out one of the walls
We had 2 closets in the playroom which isn't really necessary, so we knocked out the walls on one side to open the room up a bit
pregnant woman with a crowbar- watch out!
This whole weekend at my parents' house, Bode slept in a big boy bed!!! He was so excited and did so well, I was so sad/happy for him haha! We are waiting to get his bedroom done before we permanently put him in the big bed. Saturday night Bode had a horrible cough and woke up having a hard time breathing.... so Sunday I took him to an urgent care center near my work and they diagnosed him with Strep and Croupe :( poor baby!!! He was put on a steroid and an antibiotic.... the steroid was short lived because Bode was throwing fits, pulling at his hair, screaming, throwing tantrums, etc. I called his pediatrician and they said as long as he doesn't sound croupey, he will be ok off of the steroid. Sure enough, Monday he woke up back to his old self! He is doing well now and continues to amaze us. He speaks in sentences now and is really into telling people to play with him. He will say Mommy, come sit down and play trucks- it's so cute! He sings songs in their entirety and is just such a ham and so much fun- I can't get enough of him!!
I will certainly try to post again before Christmas. We have something going on almost every night up until Christmas, but I always try to update the blog as much as possible!
