We beat our goal of $150,000 before the walk started!!!! I still don't know what the final count was, but as of pre-walk we were over $150,000 which is sooo awesome!!!
Funny picture of Charlie trying to go potty with his Home Depot 'toolbelt' on!

The rain held off and we had a beautiful walk day! Pablo from the Backyardigans joined us as well as Swoop- the Eagles mascot! Bode was not fond of either one of these characters haha

Bode with his walk shirt on- our team name this year was 'Blind Melon' and we had adorable shirts made up!

part of our team!

Bode, Alex and Charlie watching the big kids on the bouncy bouce

Dave & Mike's BEAUTIFUL little girl Abigail

Bode playing bartender in the wagon- this kept him busy forever

This is one of my favorite parts of the walk.... This is Rocco Fiorentino- he is 12 years old and is an amazing kid with an even more amazing story! He was born 4 months premature at 1 1/2 lbs. and had a less than 5% chance of living.... he lost his twin brother at birth and spent the first 6 months of his life at CHOP and, after at least 10 surgeries, was able to go home. He lost his vision due to the high levels of oxygen needed to keep him alive. He has the most amazing voice and has performed at so many functions, including singing before Phillies games.
He sang the star spangled banner and it just gives me chills!!
Remember.. he's 12!!!

Recognition and announcement about how much we raised

Sara & Alex- this year's walk co-chairs thanking everyone and speaking about Alex's RP

halfway through the walk, Bode was very tired... but the last quarter mile he actually ran most of it with me haha- and then took a LOOONG nap when we got home

Aaron already for the walk

our t-shirts

The walk was beautiful- it's in Germantown and you forget you are in the city!

there were dogs playing in the river hear the waterfall

believe it or not, they even have a beautiful covered bridge in the park... such beautiful scenery!

It was a great day and again, thank you to everyone for your support and donations!
