We have all been sick this past week- I'm getting one of my many annual sinus infections and Michael has a cold... so when we found out that Bode was crying all day and didn't sleep for Joni on Thursday, we figured he was getting a cold- after all, he had a runny nose and slight cough. Friday he was ok at daycare, but was still not his usual busy, active self! That threw up a red flag for me and I called the Doc. Just to be sure, I asked to bring him in Saturday morning because he had a fever, even while on Motrin.
Michael went hunting Friday night and Bode and I spent some much needed QT together- I haven't been home a lot lately and we have all been so busy, so Bode was in a snuggle mood and we hung out together and played all night- I LOVED IT- only thing that would have made it better would have been if Michael was home. Saturday morning we woke up and went to the doctor- Bode has an ear infection :( I'm so glad I took him and didn't assume it was a cold or teething. We got him on medicine and continued with our day. We ran errands and then I brought Bode to Joni's for the night because I had a jewelry party at my Mom's Sunday morning. I hated leaving him when I know he has an ear infection!
This is pretty much how the week has gone- Bode is now into laying on the couch and pretending he's sleeping... the beauty of it is he actually lays there for a while, sometimes he gets down and plays with his trucks, then climbs back up

I'm hoping Bode doesn't start having bad ears like Michael- we weren't worried at all because he has only ever had one ear infection- when he was 2 months old... but it's kinda weird that he's got one now... let's just hope they don't continue!!
My Mom's jewelry party was a great success!! I was so happy to be home with my boys and imagine my surprise when I got home and laundry was done (even ALL of his hunting stuff) and the upstairs was pretty much cleaned up, ready to rip things out and get new carpet... and he measured for the hardwood floor upstairs!!! Looks like we were all productive today- I'm so lucky to have such an amazing husband!!
3 more days til our 3rd anniversary, can you believe it?!!! I can't wait
