Bode seems to learn more and more every day. He is saying almost full sentences and it is getting a lot easier to understand what he wants. I can't believe he's going to be 20 months this week.... he seems like he is 2 or 3 soemtimes! His ear infection hasn't seemed to bother him one bit and he's almost off the Amoxicillin- YEAH!!
He is more active all the time, constantly wanting to run and jump (wonder where he gets that energy ha)..... he has mastered the art of galloping, as he isn't allowed to run in the house.... that's the next best thing. He is good at it and enjoys doing it. We took him to PetSmart today and he had a blast looking at the animals... surprisingly, I think his favorite was the Chinchilla haha!

Bode loves doing this and it cracks us up! He will do it forever I think if we let him
So as you probably saw on a previous post, Bode will be a big brother!! We are hoping this pregnancy has a MUCH better ending than the last one and so far, so good! I found out on Labor Day (ironic) that I was pregnant and I am due the day after my Grandma's bday... May 17, 2010. The doctors were very careful in taking my blood work every week until we could see a heartbeat. We saw the heartbeat around the 7th week and I can't tell you what a relief that was!! I have been pretty sick the entire time- totally different than Bode! I have been working out every day as usual, but am only able to run about 3 miles before I get exhausted or feel sick. All of a sudden in my 9th week, I woke up feeling fine- no sickness, no tiredness, nothing..... I kinda panicked but waited to see what the day would bring and nothing!
My doctor ordered an ultrasound and the baby was fine- moving around and heart beating as usual. Last week I went in for my 10 week appointment to hear the heartbeat and we couldn't hear it in the office... so they sent me for an ultrasound and again, Michael and I were holding our breathe the whole time. Baby Moana was fine- heart rate was around 160, which it has been the whole time..... 'it' was moving around like crazy and the baby has been growing right on schedule. It's crazy to see the baby moving around but I can't feel it yet. With Bode, I didnt have any ultrasounds until I was well into my 2nd trimester
I still think about my miscarriage and get nervous from time to time, but I am so excited and that emotion takes over luckily! We will definitely find out what we are having this time, although I'm warning you it won't be until after Thanksgiving- we have already had people ask when will we know! Trust me, we will let everyone know! I will keep everyone posted on our status and please keep us in your thoughts as we continue on with this pregnancy that everything goes well!
