The Madara Family: Cloudy with a chance of BLT's!!

I missed my boys Friday night :( I worked part of the day Saturday and when my Mom got there, i went to the salon to get my hairs cut and pampered a bit.... then Saturday night I went to Erin's house to meet up with her and Melissa for a girl's night while Michael went to Doug's house for his diaper party! What a great idea... it was basically about 20 guys hanging out, drinking and playing cards, watching football but to get in the house you had to bring diapers! They got soooo many diapers, it was awesome!

Sunday morning I went to Erin's house to get ready for Melissa's baby shower that we were throwing for her. I found a cute idea for mini BLT's and instead of using mini baguette slices, I used the tomato for the 'bread'..... they turned out ADORABLE and were a huge hit!!

They were a bit time consuming, but once Erin and I got into a rhythm, they weren't bad at all

We had quite the spread and had a great shower for melissa!

I made the favors- chocolate covered rice crispy treats with an F on them (for the last name)... the nursery colors were blue/brown

While we were at the shower, Michael had Bode at Doug's with Justin and Nadia so they could play and they came over when everyone left the shower

Bode loves the kitchen... i think we are getting him one for the playroom once we finish it!

We had a fun weekend but I feel like I barely saw my boys at all. We missed Bode so much but my parents took such good care of him! My Dad took him and Charlie to the playground for a long time on Saturday and Bode was able to hang on to the bars all by himself!!!!!!!!!! Crazy monkey boy hahaha and at one point his hand got tired and my Dad said he let go and was hanging by one hand for a few seconds!!! Oh my!!!
