Beach Update

We are having a great time at the beach despite me battling a sinus infection! I'm glad we have internet because I have a ton of pictures already. Friday Justin, Erin & Nadia came down and on Saturday Doug & Melissa came down so we had a great weekend with everyone.

Saturday morning Erin and I went running- she runs 2 miles here and there so she said she will try to run with me. She runs at a slower pace than I do, so i was feeling great on the run. She stuck with me the whole way and by the time we had gotten back to the house, she and I had run 5 miles! Because we were running at a slower pace, i wasn't very tired so i continued.... only to complete 7 miles!! I know that doesn't seem like a huge deal, but for me it is because i have NEVER been a distance runner- I was always a faster paced runner which is better for shorter distances! I followed that run up Monday morning with another 7 miler!!!!!

Saturday night we went to the lighthouse for dinner and after we ate, Bode and Nadia were dancing on the dance floor- everyone kept asking if they were twins

Doug's wallet broke, so he called it his murse (man purse)

The Hostetters

The Hostetter and Foltz families left early Monday morning so we headed to the beach solo

Here is our little Nalu

Bode looooooooooves the water- so appropriate

We went for our first bike ride with Bode today- he looked so funny with the big mushroom helmet on, but he loved it and it was so fun!

More to come as the week goes on!
