The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of the weekend

For the first time... really ever... Bode had a very fussy weekend! I'm not complaining at all, it just makes me appreciate that he's not always like this. His incisors are coming in, and they seem to be causing him a whole heck of a lot more pain and stress than his molars!



Friday night Michael and his Dad went to the cabin for turkey hunting again- they didn't even hear anything this time :( Saturday morning, Bode and I went to the grocery, visited my friend Amy at the flea market in Lititz Springs Park, went to the gym, then came home for a nap.... all by 10:30am! When Michael got home, we were off to Brady's 1st birthday party at AJ & Sue's house. We had a blast and were happy that the weather held up and it was nice out.

this is pretty much how we spent our weekend with Bode

If he wasn't eating, he was pretty much crying. He would play and then chomp on his fingers and scream for awhile- he was miserable!!!! Sunday morning he woke up around 6:30 which is still pretty early for him and was crying.... he usually wakes up talking and laughing so we knew something was off. We met up with the Hostetters and were off to Baltimore to go to the National Aquarium- thank the Lord, Bode slept the whole way!

It was so crappy outside so it was nice to be inside the aquarium. Bode was actually into it, unlike visiting the zoo where the animals were laying around most of the time. He could see the fish swimming and loves the water so it was a lot of fun.

This was so funny- this turtle was sitting on a rock hahahaha. All of the other turtles were swimming and this one we thought was stuck... but he would move around and then just kinda sit on the rock under water!!! What a show

After the Aquarium we had a delicious lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and Bode was soooooo good! He usually doesn't sit still long enough for all of us to eat, but he ate well and just sat there chillaxin. After lunch, we went to the mall downtown at the harbor and got Bode some outfits and Nadia got a new adorable swimsuit!! We stopped at Brooks Brothers so Justin could look for a new suit and Bode wanted to get a new bow tie! Sorry dude, not for $40 ha!

Bode slept the whole way home from the Aquarium too, so he was pretty pleasant tonight... but still very fussy and chomping on his fingers. His bottom incisors have popped through, but I think these top ones are making him miserable.

MICHAEL STARTS HIS JOB TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!! We are so excited and his old company has asked Michael to do some consulting for them so that is great too! This week is going to be absolutely crazy for us- not that it's anything new, but even busy for us! Monday we pack for the beach, Tuesday Michael has softball and Bode has swim lessons, Wednesday and Thursday I have jewelry parties to do, and we leave for the beach on Friday!!!!! I will take lots of pictures at the beach this weekend , even though my old camera is crap!
