Holy cow, my camera broke this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!! Bad Newsssssssssssss- What a great weekend we had though. Friday I took off of work and met up with Devon, Megan, Randi, Andrea, Debbie, Yuri, Lisa, and Alliy at the salon- we all got our nails and toes done up pretty for the big day on Saturday. We went out to lunch at Tobias Frogg and then Michael and I got ready for the rehearsal. The rehearsal went well and Randi's Mom had a wonderful dinner at her house afterwards. Jamie and I went home around 10 while the guys all took Brandon to Jack's (local campus bar). They got home around 12:30 and when Michael got home, I was in the midst of having a horrible night- I was in pain and had a fever, so i was freeeezing, but to him, my body felt super hot. That stopped around 2am and i was finally able to sleep- I was super tired Saturday morning, but Jamie and I left around 10am to go back to Randi's Mom's house to get ready for the wedding. Devon & Brandon got married at Millersville University(where Michael and i went to college and met) so it was so nice to be back on campus to talk about old times and old memories.
I took some fabulous pictures and of course, have to wait to use someone else's camera to upload them..... but the wedding ceremony was gorgeous- as you can imagine, it was about 83 degrees out and they got married right in front of the pond at Millersville- perfect scenery! The reception was a blast, we danced and drank all night- I was feeling great!!!
We got home around 2am (after hanging out with people at a hotel afterparty) and were up bright and early to get Bode and head to D.C. to meet up with Ravin & Liam. We left around 10 and got to D.C. around 12:30-ish.... we met Ravin and Liam and some of Ravin's friends for lunch at Champps on Pentagon Row- which, by the way, is my new favorite spot.... if I ever have to live in D.C. I am totally living right there. It was the cutest section of town with shops, restaurants, bars, in a beautiful setting!
After lunch, we walked around D.C. for a few hours to enjoy the HOTTTT sunny day. I was excited because believe it or not, I have never done the D.C. thing! I played in tournaments there with my travel softball and soccer teams, but never did the museums or monuments- something Michael and I were going to do for our one year anniversary, but I was pregnant and we decided to wait awhile. We are already trying to find a weekend free this summer to do it, especially when we heard all of the museums are free!!!!
Here is Michael helping Bode with the water bottle. In the background is the capitol building- where we were standing is where Ravin's friend was during the inauguration- she was body-to-body with other people and the crowd behind her on the lawn was about 3 times the distance- even though I saw the crowd on TV, being there is a completely different story, it was so crazy to think about the number of people there

Passed out completely when we got home!!! What a long weekend we had, but we had sooo much fun. I'm so glad we got to see Ravin- we have always talked about going back to where we went on our honeymoon for our 5-year Anniverary and we have decided to go on a cruise- I CAN'T WAIT, we are going to have so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the way home from D.C., i started getting horrible stomach pains and by the time we got home, I was bleeding heavily and was doubled over in pain!!! I called the doctor and they said that I was probably experiencing some normal symptoms a little delayed, but because i was pretty much dancing all night and doing so much this weekend, my body was reacting. I am doing better tonight and this morning, but am still by no means doing well- I am taking it easy and just trying to feel the best I can so that I can get back to enjoying the weather and RUN AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!! This weather is killing me with not being able to run and now I am definitely not able to do the Broad Street Run in Philly, which I was considering running early in May.
As soon as I get my camera card uploaded, I will post wedding pictures so stay tuned!
