Spring Fever

Spring is almost here and we can taste it! We only have a few more days to wait, but the weather today was beautiful so we of course took advantage of it.

I love this video- we showed him once how to put the basketball in the hoop and he could do it himself!! He definitely has some good hand-eye coordination already

Not a whole lot is new with us- I am excited because my birthday is coming up and if you know me, i'm OBSESSED with my birthday! I think Michael is making me dinner and we might have some people over next weekend. I just love that it's a whole day to celebrate ME!!! Things have been going well with us- besides the fact that i feel like I am already showing and can NEVER keep my eyes open. I can't believe that with Bode I didn't really show until 4 months or so and I am already getting a little belly. it's sad.... and I am seriously exhausted all day. It doesn't help that I'm up in the middle of the night to pee now and I never feel rested. I don't remember being this tired with Bode but as Joni reminds me, I didn't have to chase after a 1-year old back then ha!

I am still running like I used to, but it's starting to freak me out. My doctor keeps telling me that i can continue exercising as I did before I got pregnant as long as I'm not over-exerting myself and I 'listen to my body'. I have heard horror stories about women who run during their first trimester and miscarry- i have also read on running forums that some women run marathons in their first trimester- I guess it all depends on the person and the situation. I am by no means running marathon distances, but I still get nervous with my 5 mile runs. I haven't been sick yet, but throughout the day I get dizzy and feel sick to my stomach. Usually if I eat something, I'm ok! I just can't get over how tired I am constantly. We don't have much planned this weekend- we are staying at my Mom & Dad's house Friday night and will come back Saturday so I am looking forward to a low key weekend.
