Happy Saturday

Not much to update but of course some cute pictures!

Bode being silly at work with me on Friday- he always lays on the floor now and does these barrel rolls, it's so funny!

Pretending to go 'night night'

Listening intently while Daddy reads the 'Piggies' book!! Notice Bode is on his own chair- this is a chair that Mary & Leo got for us at our couples shower- it's a handmade Amish rocking chair and Bode has just realized that he can climb up on it himself... but then he likes to stand on it!!

Reading his favorite book of the week- Stanley goes fishing.... this is the book we bought in Maine and it's funny because we call Matt Bachert 'Stanley'- don't ask why! Anywhoooooo opening day is coming up and the boys couldn't be more excited! As I type Michael and Bode are with all of the guys at Bass Pro Shops getting their stuff needed for opening day- my Mom and I are going to shop downtown in Lititz!

I can't say enough how freakin cute Bode is- we just can't get enough, I LOOOVE this age! It seems like every day he says a new word (more like a sound) and teaches himself how to do something and gets so proud! He laughs all the time and we are just having so much fun with him!!

We are going to start a new project in the house and part of it requires some demolition- we are going to put some much needed recessed lighting in the kitchen and bathroom and start tearing out the old, nasty carpet upstairs. The larger room that will be a playroom had two closets- we decided to tear out the walls of the one closet and just open it up to make the room bigger!! We picked out carpet and I know at least what I want to do with Bode's room- not sure yet on playroom colors. I want to do something bright and neutral- maybe bright green and orange or something, I don't know. I found a beautiful hawaiian/surf comforter for Bode's room (of course his room will be a surf theme- at least until he is old enough to pick what he wants ha!) and I'm going to do his room in 2 different shades of blue I think. I'm excited to have the upstairs done and I'm glad we have a looot of time to do it!

Have a great weekend!
