Oh what fun!!

What a weekend!! It was actually low key for us, but so much fun!

So I want to start by putting some pictures from the birthday party last weekend because I forgot my camera at Maria's house and my sister was kind enough to drive out to get it for me! thanks for taking good care of it Maria and thanks for getting it sis!!

So Friday night we had an absolute BLAST for our friend's 30th birthday.... they did a theme dinner at Bube's (boo bees) Brewery in Mount Joy- they have a restaurant underground called the Catacombs (where we got engaged) and it's a really neat dining experience. The dinner alone is amazing, but every once in awhile they do these themed dinners- from Pirate dinners to Medieval dinners. Our friend Melissa did the Medieval dinner for Doug's birthday- but it was a surprise.

So we all arrived early and got sat downstairs in our private room- you can't really see it, but they had two men playing music and there were just candles lit everywhere- it's very dark, but so fun!
The birthday crew was running late and we were all hungry.... and thirsty for our drinks!!! This gentleman decided to yell at Lady Jane that he wanted food- Lady Jane is the token Medieval hooker that begs you for services!!

Yeah the dinner was crazy- and HYSTERICAL!Doug arrived and was surprised... until he got to the parking lot and saw everyone's cars, but he was so excited

They had a feast master, who was in charge of everything and everyone!

So Lady Jane was there to provide 'entertainment' in various ways to the gentlemen.... for a tip she could really entertain you- here is is giving Ron a massage..... with his fork -YUCK!

Before we were allowed to eat, Lady Jane and Josh (one of Doug's friends) had to reenact how our dinner was prepared

Josh was the wild animal running through the forest and someone else was there to stab him and kill him!

The Fest Master then wowed us with his fire skills

He was eating fire and needed an assistant to sit there in case the flames dripped, so he grabbed Michael cause he was sitting closest (YIKES)

At the end of dinner, when we were all liquored up, the Feast Master came around so the ladies could all eat from the sacred vine of grapes- the trick was you had to kick your feet up so it looked extra ridiculous!! This was Melissa

Bode and I ran errands on Saturday while Michael and Scott worked on the steps- they are becoming quite the pain in the A#& but it is coming along!
