Snow & Slobber

Much to my surprise I woke up Friday morning to go running with Koa and there was snow outside!! I got bundled up, got Koa ready and headed out for a run- about a mile into it, it began to "blizzard snow" is what I like to call it.... by the end of our run, Koa looked like a white poodle hahahaha- he had clumps of snow all over him but he was having a great time. He kept trying to bite the snow while running.
We had our friends Doug and Melissa over Friday night for dinner and had a blast with them and an amazing dinner (thanks to the grille master Michael) and told hysterical stories until we realized it was really late ha! I worked all day Saturday while Michael and Scott tackled our bathroom.... the next project! They ripped out the tile that was there and prepped everything for painting and new flooring- woohoooooo. My Dad and Mom watched Bode and had so much fun with him, despite him pulling his toy on top of him and biting his tongue really badly!
Saturday night, Michael and I went to Home Depot to get paint and pick out our fixtures for the bathroom vanity. Sunday I worked a half day and when I came home, we went and bought our new vanity for the bathroom- it's goregeous and I can't wait til it's done!!! It's a really nice dark modern looking vanity with a white marble counter top. I went for a nice, long run Sunday (it was a balmy 48 degrees out and sunny- so perfect) and when Bode went to bed, we worked on finishing the first coat of paint in the bathroom. I think Tuesday night, Michael and Scott are going to rip out our old vanity, put flooring down, and install the new vanity. I will take before/after pictures because it's going to be a HUGE change!!! Last night was the season premier of 24.... we are HUGE 24 fans... looove Jack Bauer and it was certainly no disappointment, thanks Fox!
Bodezafa (my name of the week for him- what people used to call me in grade school) is doing well.... he has been reallyyyy fussy lately and messing with his mouth. HE DROOLS EVERYWHERE!!! He is getting 2 teeth at once, in the same spot but on the top and bottom..... I have heard other moms tell me that their kids weren't too fussy with teeth until about the 7th tooth and then it got better again. This is about that stage and I'm hoping this too shall pass. He is doing better and better with standing by himself and taking steps. He can walk just holding onto one of our hands now without hanging on with a death grip! He continues to crack us up all the time and is the best free entertainment we've ever had! I honestly don't know how some people don't want to be parents, it is so amazing and rewarding and absolutely so much fun!

I will post pictures of the bathroom later this week... stay tuned!
