Just another Manic Monday

The grand opening was spectacular!! We had an absolute blast and it was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who helped out and made it so wonderful!

Here is Mom with Ryan from Robert Rothschild- one of our most popular vendors.... they sell the most amazing dips, spreads, pretzels, crackers, etc. He had a table set up to do tastings of whatever people wanted.

Derreck at Stadium Grille did a fantastic job with the catering!! The food was delicious and because the booze was in this room as well, it was the most crowded room all night of course!

Friday my Mom and I had several appointments in the city after attending a BCA breakfast that morning. BCA is an amazing group of business individuals that my Mom just joined. The group was started by Ron Jaworski and it is a very elite group- but so much fun. Merrell Reese was the emcee and Steven A. Smith from ESPN was our speaker....

When I got back into town, I picked up Bode and packed up our clothes, etc. and headed to the new house. Unfortunately, Michael was golfing all weekend and was not home to enjoy the house as well, but he made it home safe on Sunday. I had a rough night with Bode Friday- for the first time EVER he would not sleep. Now that he can pull himself up to stand, and I think the fact that his room was filled with boxes and he hasn't been in his crib for over a month, he screamed and cried for awhile. I finally pat his butt while he layed there and he fell asleep. It got easier as the weekend went on to put him down!

Saturday morning we played for awhile and walked with Koa so he could get a feel for the yard and neighborhood. My Mom then came to pick up Bode- my parents watched him for the weekend so that I could do nothing but unpack!!

I got everything unpacked!!! We still have some things in Joni & Scott's garage, but everything that was at the house is completely unpacked- I got so much done this weekend!! Bode's room is no longer being taken over by large cardboard monsters, he can now play in it!

Michael made it home safely from golfing in West Virginia and despite only having played once this summer since last year, he did fairly well! He loved how the house looks and we are so excited to be living in our new house! We can't thank Joni & Scott enough for all that they did for us. I'm sure they are super excited to have their house back too!!

I can't believe Bode is going to be 7 months old this weekend! We have a wedding to go to on Saturday so Aunt Cathy and Uncle Jere are watching him!! I will post more pictures of our house as the week goes on!
