Bode had a fun-filled day at Tonya's house!!! She was brave enough to have Taelor (her daughter) and Bode finger paint with non-toxic water-based paints. What a fun day Bode had. Tonya said he absolutely loved it. As soon as she put the paper in front of him with colors, he swirled them all around and did it himself!!

I can't wait to frame his painting!

We leave for Maine super early Saturday morning, around 1am. We are driving to New Hampshire (8 hours) to visit my cousin Tammy, Glenn, and their 2 kids. We are going to have breakfast there and get out to let Bode stretch.... from there it's about 2 hours to our house in Maine, where we will meet up with Matt & Ani, Devon & Brandon, and Jamie & Matt (and the Ober kids). Michael and I can't wait for this vacation..... because the house that we are buying is a foreclosure, we are working with a bank... and they nickel & dime you for EVERYTHING.
We weren't able to get the inspection this week, so it will have to be performed without us being there and there are extra charges for everything because the house hasn't been lived in for a while.... so things need to be turned on and off, etc.

This vacation is MUCH NEEDED right now. I can't wait to take pictures of Bode on his very first 'real' vacation!! I know you will all miss my blog posts, but just think about how many cute pictures will be uploaded when I get back!!
