Today's lesson..... Keiki is the Hawaiian word for baby or child. When my sister had Charlie, she always wanted fancy burp cloths for him, to use at parties or out to dinner, etc. The prices always seemed way too outrageous! She wanted to do something extra special for Nalu and me at my shower, so she decided to make some fancy burp cloths. She had so much fun doing it, she bought herself a sewing machine and now does it all the time! She has created a business out of it and they really do make fantastic, personalized gifts for moms and moms-to-be! Here are just a few of the many she made for Nalu!! They can easily be washed and dried and what better way to be the hip, stylish Mama! These burp cloths are called 'Keiki cloths' and I added a link to Sara's new website on our blog page. Please check out some of the other fabrics she has done. You really can do any print for any occasion or gender, just get in touch with Sara and order yours today!!
